Club Overview

St Johns Uniting Netball Club has approximately 145 players across 16 teams ranging from 11 and under to 17 and under and open age groups. We play as part of 90 plus team competition which consists the Victorian Baptist CC & AC Netball Association Inc. (VBCCACNAI). All our games are played on a Saturday afternoon from March through August at the Aberfeldie primary school netball courts off Ramsay street, Aberfeldie.

We draw children from the north west suburbs of Melbourne including Essendon, Moonee Ponds, Ascot Vale, Travancore, Brunswick, Coburg, Royal Park, Pascoe Vale, Strathmore, Glenroy, Oak Park, Aberfeldie and Maribyrnong.

The club is run by the parents of the children with a clear philosophy:

  1. St Johns Netball Club fosters a love of the game of netball through participation as a player, coach, umpire, committee member, team manager or as a supporter, all with a view to build a sense of community.
  2. St Johns Netball Club supports teams made of friendship and social groups, with a view to promote and maintain the sports involvement of young women in our community.
  3. St Johns Netball Club encourages players, umpires and coaches to develop their netball skills, abide by the rules and to have FUN!
