**HOT WEATHER ALERT - SATURDAY 15TH MARCH **

As the Bureau of Meteorology has forecast a high of 36°C tomorrow, we take this opportunity to remind all players and spectators of EDNA’s previous advice from 22 February below.

🔥 HOT WEATHER ALERT 🔥
Games will proceed as scheduled, but we will make  appropriate adjustments to keep everyone safe & comfortable.⏳

Game Adjustments (as Needed)
🏐 Shorter quarters & longer breaks
🏐 Extra time between games
🏐 Cancellations may occur – decisions made time slot by time slot

🚨 Stay Updated
🔹 Check Netball Connect & Facebook for real-time updates
🔹 If in doubt, still attend unless advised otherwise
🔹 Contact your club official for any questions

🌞 Beat the Heat!
✅ Start hydrating now – drink plenty of water on Friday & before your game
✅ Apply sunscreen & wear a hat (bucket hats only on court)
✅ Bring extra water bottles
✅ Use cooling methods – cold towels on the neck & wrists help!
✅ Eat water-rich foods like watermelon & cucumber

⚠️ Adjustments will be made throughout the day to ensure players, umpires, and spectators stay safe & comfortable.  💙 Let’s stay cool, safe, and hydrated!
