Cr Hodgson and Cr. Tyson from Moonee Valley would be keen to hear from club members and local citizens whether they would support their proposal to stop privatisation measures on Riverside’s golf, tennis and netball facilities.
As it currently stands, the proposal for Tuesday’s Council meeting is to tender all facilities at Riverside to one private for-profit operator. They believe this would have a detrimental effect on the community and our members and would like to continue to conversation.
